In this day and age there are literally thousands of forex trading courses online. Gurus and mentors all around the world are looking for students to teach the markets to, in exchange for a fee. This is amazing for forex traders and has created a huge amount of opportunities and knowledge being shared. However, it’s becoming increasingly harder to spot a legit forex course, compared to a scammer that is just repacking old content with no successful track record themselves.
In this article we are taking a look at Market Fluidity, a trading course ran by well known Instagram forex trader WicksDontLie. Is Market Fluidity legit or just another scam? Let’s find out now…

What Is Market Fluidity?
Market Fluidity is a trading course and mentorship group that has taken the online trading community by storm over the last year.
The company is ran by Rakeel, known online as Wicksdontlie. Rakeel has been a very popular figure in the online/Instagram/YouTube trading community for forex traders over the last 5 years and has gained hundreds of thousands of dedicated followers.
Due to the amazing reputation, consistent content and value for money, Market Fluidity has earned a place on our top forex trading courses list over the last few months and traders from the community are getting funded by industry leading prop firms like FTMO.
Now that we understand who is running the show, let’s take a further look into what the course and mentorship actually entails…
What Does Market Fluidity Offer?
When purchasing a forex trading course, you’re not just investing your money but also a huge amount of time. You need to ensure that you’re getting value for money and actually being given the tools you need to succeed, not just basic general knowledge with no guidance on how to implement what you’re paying for. With that being said, what does Market Fluidity offer?
Once you’re a member, you will have access to a huge amount of educational content ranging from recorded information to live webinars. This starts from a really basic level, moving up to the more advanced techniques like wick fills and stacking positions to improve profits in trading.
Members are added into multiple different chat channels where you’re able to speak to Rakeel and all of the other members. This is a really collaborative environment and traders are able to refine their skills, ask any questions they have and build their confidence within the markets but leveraging the experience of hundreds of other traders.
How Much Does Market Fluidity Cost?
If you take a look at our list of top forex trading courses, you’ll see that the price ranges anywhere from £500-£5000 depending on the course. Forex courses and mentorship is no guarantee of success so I am always more inclined to support the lower cost courses as I think spending £5000 is fairly excessive.
Market Fluidity costs $500 as a one time payment – which is very affordable for most newbie traders. You will be enrolled into the Forex Family, have constant webinars, dedicated chat and a pool of traders at your disposal to pair with and trade the markets with. This is definitely in the average price range we would expect for webinars and membership.
With the huge success of the program over the last year or so, Rakeel has now opened up a few in person bootcamp sessions around the world to get some face to face contact with traders. The price for this is around $1400 which is certainly expensive and in my opinion, probably not worth the cost. There is a huge amount of content in the normal $500 membership, along with the free content online that I wouldn’t think you could justify spending $1400 on the same content, but in person.
Using Market Fluidity Strategies With Prop Firms
If you have watched any of Rakeel’s live streams before, you’ll know that he focuses his strategies on trading the lower time frames. This includes 5 Minute, 15 Minute, 30 Minute and 1 Hour charts. Although this is much harder, in theory, than trading the larger time frames and position trading, it’s much better for taking a large volume of trades. The benefit to being able to take trades in the markets every session is that you’re much more likely to pass an account funding challenge, than a swing trader.
We have a list of the best forex prop firms offering funding to intraday traders here. There’s of course no guarantee that you will be able to pass a funding challenge, but you’ll know that you at least have the trading volume needed to make it work – in theory.
I know that a lot of Market Fluidity students like to try to get $100,000 trading accounts through FTMO, as it offers a very simple challenge structure and a 70% profit split!
If you’re a bit more aggressive of a trader, you could use the strategies to get funding from a firm like DT4X. This company offers an instant funding account, so you’ll be trading $50,000 of prop firm capital within minutes, with no challenge!
The History Of WicksDontLie
This is going to mean nothing to a lot of the newer forex traders but for those that have been around in the Instagram trading community for maybe 5+ years, they would remember ‘The Forex Family‘. This was a group or community, ran by Ted Safranko (Uncle Ted), and comprised of multiple mentors all offering education, daily content and trading groups for intra day traders.
Although the groups were started with great intentions, the majority of the mentors were scammers and had absolutely no live trading experience. At the time, Rakeel or Wicksdontlie was hosting a webinar most weekends where he was turning literally £10,000 accounts on the simulator into million pound accounts with barely losing any trades.
In hindsight, he was not profitable at the time and this was all smoke and mirrors. However, out of all of the mentors, Wicksdontlie was the only mentor to stay around for the long haul and actually become a profitable trader after years of work and studying, so he has the respect of the people!
Market Fluidity YouTube Content
The problem with most trading courses is that you have no idea what the trading system and strategies are, until you pay the full fee for the course. This is completely not the case however for Market Fluidity. Wicksdontlie, the username of the owner, has been live streaming daily trading content on YouTube for years now and has a following of over 120,000 traders that tune in.
You can literally learn everything you need to know to profitably intra day trade and scalp the forex markets, using the free content provided. I know that a lot of viewers will got onto becoming paid members to join the group but with the live chat feature and being able to see all of the trades taken, plus explanations, I’m really not sure if it’s worth paying when the paid content is so good!
In this video, Raja shows his live trading account with all profits, losses and withdrawals over the last 6 months where he has been able to massively scale his trading account from $50,000 to $1,000,000. This is huge and most traders are never willing to show any kinds of withdrawals, so the transparency holds a lot of weight.
Market Fluidity Reviews – What Do Traders Think?
With so many courses our there now, it’s more important than ever to look at reviews of how forex trading courses are actually being perceived by students around the world. Just because we get on with a mentor, doesn’t mean that traders in other countries are getting the same experience!
Market Fluidity has an Excellent rating on Trustpilot with over 56 reviews coming in at 4.4/5 stars! This is huge, with over 14% of traders saying they did not enjoy the course. For the amount of students Rakeel has, I would expect this number to be larger in terms of reviews, but still, not all traders like to leave reviews.
I also had a look on Forex Peace Army, a well respected forex community blog to see if there was any reviews on the platform. The only review was from one trader, unhappy about something Rakeel had said during a live stream that was free on YouTube, so we have ignored this review for now!
Since there is so much content online, published for free by Wicksdontlie, taking a look on the comments of his YouTube videos would be a great way to see what traders think of the content he is putting out. From looking over a good 10-20 videos, the comments are always extremely positive and Rakeel certainly has a dedicated following of intraday traders.
In Summary, Is Market Fluidity Legit?
In conclusion, Market Fluidity is a legitimate forex trading course and has a well deserved space in our top forex trading courses list. With a huge amount of content and support structure, it’s clear to see how the community is churning out so many profitable forex traders within a fairly short space of time.
If you have any experience with the course or questions, please do leave a comment below – I’d love to hear your feedback and questions.
